How quickly do you respond?
We aim to respond within 2“3 business days. Security reports are prioritised and typically receive a response within 48 hours. For urgent security issues, please include "URGENT" in the subject line.
Do you accept feature requests?
Yes. If there's a developer tool you'd like to see on DevSpeedTools, send us a message describing the tool, what it should do, and why you'd use it. We prioritise tools that solve common developer problems and can run entirely in the browser.
Can I contribute to the project?
DevSpeedTools is not open source at this time, but we welcome bug reports and suggestions. If you've found a bug in one of the tools, please describe the steps to reproduce it, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened.
Do you offer API access or integrations?
Not yet. All tools currently run in the browser. If you're interested in programmatic access to our conversion or validation logic, let us know and we'll consider adding an API tier in the future.
Can I use your content or tools in my own project?
The tools are free to use for any purpose. If you'd like to reference or embed our tools, please link back to DevSpeedTools. For content reproduction, contact us for permission.
How do I report a bug or an accuracy problem in a tool?
Send a message to the general address with the tool name, the input you used, the result you expected, and the result you got. Screenshots or a copy of the input help us reproduce the problem quickly.
About DevSpeedTools.
DevSpeedTools is a collection of free, browser-based developer utilities built for speed and privacy. Every tool — from YAML converters to JSON formatters to JWT decoders — processes your data locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server, and no account is required.
The project was created to fill a gap in the developer tools landscape: fast, private utilities that respect your data. Most online converters upload your data to remote servers, show intrusive ads, or require account creation. DevSpeedTools takes the opposite approach.
DevSpeedTools is an independent project. There is no funding round, no data collection business, and no account system behind it. The site is supported by a small amount of advertising, which is why we keep pages fast, the tools free, and the content useful.

Every tool page includes documentation, examples, and a privacy note so you can see exactly what happens to your input before you use it. If something is unclear, tell us and we will improve the page.
Our principles.
Privacy first. Your data never leaves your browser. We don't store, log, or transmit any input you paste into our tools. You can verify this by opening your browser's DevTools Network tab.
Speed matters. Every tool loads fast and processes data instantly. No waiting for server round-trips, no loading spinners for simple conversions.
No accounts. Use any tool immediately without signing up, creating a password, or providing an email address.
Transparent development. We publish a changelog with every release and share roadmap plans publicly. You can see exactly what changed, what's coming next, and why we made certain design decisions.
Accessible by default. Every tool supports keyboard navigation, screen readers, and high-contrast mode. We test with VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS to ensure the tools are usable by everyone regardless of ability.
