Everything happens in your browser.
DevSpeedTools runs entirely client-side. The YAML you paste, the JWT you decode, the Base64 you encode — none of it is sent to a server for processing. No accounts, no analytics on your input, no logs of what you typed.

Built for developers, by developers.
DevSpeedTools was created to solve a simple problem: developers need quick, reliable utilities for everyday data transformations without the overhead of installing tools or signing up for accounts. Whether you're converting YAML to JSON for a Kubernetes manifest, formatting a minified API response to make it readable, or decoding a JWT to inspect its claims, these tools let you do it in seconds from your browser.
Every tool runs entirely client-side. There is no backend processing your data. The code that transforms your input executes in your browser's JavaScript engine, which means your YAML, JSON, JWTs, and other sensitive data never leave your device. You can verify this by opening your browser's Network tab — you won't see any request carrying your input data.
The tool collection spans six categories: formatters and converters for YAML, JSON, Base64, and JWT; encoding and decoding utilities for URLs and HTML; generation tools for passwords, UUIDs, and Lorem Ipsum; validators for JSON syntax and data integrity; and analysis tools for inspecting YAML structure and statistics. Each tool is self-contained with its own page, examples, and documentation.
Why browser-based tools?
Server-side tools require uploading your data to a third party. For public information this is usually fine, but for API keys, private configuration files, JWT tokens with secret claims, and proprietary data, uploading is a security risk. Browser-based tools eliminate that risk entirely. Your data stays on your machine, processed locally with zero network transit.
Browser tools also have no latency beyond local computation. There's no server round-trip, no queuing, no rate limiting. Paste your YAML and get the JSON instantly. Decode a JWT in milliseconds. This speed matters when you're debugging in the middle of a production incident and need answers fast.
